ORGANIC Thymus Vulgaris Seeds THYME

Seeds per pack; approx. 100

Sow; March-June

Thyme is an aromatic, evergreen, perennial herb in the mint family Lamiaceae and is related to oregano. It has culinary, medicinal, and ornamental uses and packs a lot of flavour into its tiny leaves.

Thyme originated in the Mediterranean and is therefore suited to hot, dry, free draining conditions.

The compact plants are covered in tiny pink flowers from early and mid summer that are loved by bees.

Sow from March-June in trays placed in a propagator.

Pot on in small clumps when large enough to handle.

Harden off  and transplant to the final position when the plants are about 5 or 6 cm tall.

Plant out about 25cm apart.

Pick lightly in the first year to allow the plants to establish.

OUR SEEDS ARE SPECIALLY SELECTED FOR UK CONDITIONS AND SOURCED FROM ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE, SOIL ASSOCIATED ORGANIC GROWERS.

ALL OUR PACKAGING IS 100% RECYCLABLE, BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE.
