Or add companion plants to your lawn to help the store 30% more carbon in comparison to wildflower free grass areas.

Micro-greens & Sprouting Seeds

Quick and easy to grow indoors with little space and little light. Harvest 1-2 weeks from sowing.

Sprouts are usually grown without light, to produce succulent white stems, often used in stir fries(mung bean sprouts).

Micro-greens do require some light and are eaten once the first leaves have opened, usually green but red leaved veg are also popular to grow as micro-greens. These young greens are usually added to salads and soups or used as a garnish.

Green Manures

Green manures help to improve soil structure and stop soil from eroding or leaching nutrients while not in use.

They are usually dug into the ground before flowering to add organic matter to the soil but can also be mulched on the surface or even composted, depending upon your style of gardening.
