Red Salad Bowl is a large, loose Oak Leaf variety that is used for cut and come again leaf crops all summer long or can be cut whole.
 
Sow direct from March thinly 1cm(½ in) deep in drills 30cm(12 in) apart. Ideal temp. 4-16°C.
Don’t thin for cut and come again crops.
When seedlings are 2cm tall thin to 25cm. Can sow under cover in autumn for overwintering. Successional sow at 14 day intervals.
