Chilli peppers come in an array of shapes, sizes, colours and of course heat. The hotness of different chillies has been measured using the Scoville scale. 
 
Ring O Fire, is an improved, hotter cayenne type of chilli pepper (70,000-80,000 Scovilles). The fruits are long and thin and mature from green to red. This is a very easy chilli to grow, is very productive and is one of the first to ripen.
 
Seeds can be started indoors/heated propagator, from January to March at a temperature of 18 – 21 degrees C. When some true leaves have formed pot up into 8cm pots. Plant out 50cm apart in a greenhouse or polytunnel border when the plants are about 10 cm tall.
Liquid feed once the fruits have set. Harvest green when the fruits are ready or let the ripen to red.
