Tall Utah is an upright, compact celery with firm green, slightly ribbed stems.
It’s a popular American heirloom variety that produces stringless, tender, juicy, crisp stalks about 70cm tall.
Good disease tolerance.
Sow from early February - March in trays or modules with heat. They can also be started in a cold greenhouse during April.
Do not cover the seed as they require light for good germination.
Pot up when plants have true leaves and grow on until you have sturdy plants of about 10-12 cm. Harden off & transplant from late May-June 30 cm apart.
Plant in rich, moist soil in shade/semi-shade & Keep well-watered.
