Carrot ‘Solvita’ is a vigorous new, high-yielding, main-crop carrot with rapid early growth which means it can be pulled young.
The flavor is sweet, mild-aromatic and juicy. High yields are possible and it is good
For storing and juicing.
It crops in the autumn but can be left in the ground to pull as required through most of the winter.
 
Sow outdoors from April - July at a depth of 1 cm (½ in) in drills 30 cm (12 in) apart.
 
Carrots are slow to germinate (7 - 21 days) and often germinate unevenly over a period of several weeks. To help germination, water lightly daily if soil is dry.
