Snapdragons (Antirrhinum) are a popular bedding annual that comes in a range of colours. These dragon-faced flowers are native to the mediterranean and can grow up to 35cm. Whilst these aren't a companion plant, we thought some of you might be craving some beautiful flowers to add another feature to your gardens and allotments. 
 
Sow in seed trays in a greenhouse or cold frame. Transplant once large enough to handle to 5cm apart.  After last frost harden off and plant 25cm apart. Snapdragons flower in June to September.
