‘Nigella Damascena’, also known as 'Love in a Mist' produces beautiful, ornamental blue, pink and white flowers from June - August. Great for attracting beneficial insects and for use as cut or dried flowers.
The seeds are sometimes used for culinary purposes although the edible Nigella seeds bought in the shops are 'Nigella Sativa' which is a relative of 'Damascena' and we recommend you do your own research before eating anything.
Plants grow to about 40 - 60cm tall.
 
 
Sow from March - May directly into well prepared ground or in trays & transplant when large enough to handle. Space  about 20 cm apart.
