Sweet pepper ‘Long Red Marconi’ is a long, pointed variety that is very productive with a mild and sweet flavour. It can be eaten green or red, but can, on occasion, produce a plant with hot peppers.
Seeds can be started indoors/heated propagator from January - March at a temperature of 18 – 21 degrees C. When some true leaves have formed pot up into 8cm pots. Plant out 50cm apart in a greenhouse or polytunnel border when the plants are about 10 cm tall.
Liquid feed once the fruits have set. Harvest green when the fruits are ready or let the ripen to red.
Our seeds are specially selected for UK conditions and sourced from environmentally responsible, soil-associated organic growers.
All our packaging is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.
