Mizuna is a very fast growing salad leaf crop with green serrated leaves and a mild mustard
Type flavour from Japan.
It makes a great cut and come again leaf crop that should be sown successionaly all year round. It bolts slowly and is cold hardy but should be sown undercover during the colder months.
Mizuna is very reliable crop that should be grown and used like rocket. Mature leaves are stronger flavoured and good added to stir fries.
Sow in furrows 0.5-1cm deep, cover lightly with soil. For mature plants space 15cm apart in rows 30cm apart. Cut and come again should be in rows 10cm apart.
