Marrows are mature courgettes or rather courgettes are the immature fruits of the Marrow. They are really easy to grow and can store for several weeks. They have thick skins which makes them perfect for stuffing and their sweet, juicy flesh tastes amazing when baked. 
Marrows can be harvested small as Courgettes.
 
Tiger Cross is an early and vigorous variety with white stripes. It is resistant to cucumber mosaic virus and a F1 hybrid so its seed will not come true if saved (F1 hybrid sounds like something unnatural but it just means that two different parent plants are purposefully pollinated by each other to create a new variety. Its seeds however will most likely revert to one of the original/parent varieties). 
 
 
Sow in pots under-cover about 1-2cm deep and keep warm. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed.
Plants should be spaced about a meter apart and kept well watered.
